this is how it looks like driving a 90mm throttle body with the Vortech blower on a 6.1 SRT8 without having a custom tune installed. in this case some boost of the Vortech has been released.

  • My car is doing the same thing I had a GSM supercharger on it and did not do that

now I have a 426 stroker no supercharger and it is doing the same thing with a custom tune if you fixed it can you tell me what you did to fix it

and i have the stock throttle body on it

    Thanks Jim

  • @srt8jim: the issue is software based. the Arrington TB let's more air through even when closed compared to the stock TB. you need to get a custom tune.

  • It's a new way to cruise control Lol

  • it's completely tune related, hemi's are speed density tuned and you need re-tuning easy fix from a tuner.

  • The problem is the crappy 90mm tb. Those junks dont work and get even worse with compressors and turbos.

  • well, you can only force so much air into an engine. that is weird though 0.o

  • so did you fix it and how.

  • I take it theres a problem there,,
