This song reminds me of Nam in 67-68. I knew a brilliant Vietnamese lady named Le Trihn. She became my friend, and a good one. She was smart, hip, and a true loyal friend. We would argue about this song. She would say the gypsy with the gold tattoo and I would say, no, it's the gypsy with the gold capped tooth. I think I was right, but we argued about it for months. When Saigon fell., I thought about her and cried and still do. She had the street smarts to survive those commie bastards.

Wow! This is great! Any more of them actually live? All I'm finding are pre-recorded lip sync'd US and UK (Shindig Hulabalu, et al) performances miming to their records and one from NME concert but not with any songs I know until now.

This one is fantastic. That ultra-fast guitar rhythm strumming reminds me some of John Lennon's (Beatles) All My Loving and I'm Happy Just To Dance With You. It's awsome.

i love the way john turns round to acknowledge the great little fill the drummer does at 0.34 , brilliant . sang with the searchers once at fox's nightclub in wolverhampton 1991 , ah memories , we did johnny b goode , still doing it today in my band .
