  • this is so great! thank you so much for this upload, awesome sound quality btw :)

  • Thanks for listening!

I really do my best to bring out the great sound quality these vinyl records offer. Many don't realize how good 45's can sound!

  • Is Roger Williams the singer, composer or director? If this is the same song I grew up with, its from the Born Free movie that I loved as a child. But with NO audio, its impossible to tell what this song video is about. So just take it offline and put it out of its misery please.

  • This is indeed the original song you remember as a child.

    All my music is original!

There is audio on this channel for sure.

The record starts at the 25 second mark when I put the needle on the record - the way it was meant to be!

    Thanks for listening!

  • Roger Williams is the pianist on this record.

I don't know who the vocalist is.

This is the hit version of this song.

  • Thanks for posting the original 45 rpm hit for us, WABCRADIO7. Love the video. The turntable, the tone arm, the label credits...the memories of my younger brother buying this in 1966.

    Peace.

  • Rest in peace, Roger Williams. You so greatly affected my life -- and in a good way.

  • one of his best.i just heard on the news that he had passed away at the age of 87.let's not forget his kind of piano playing and his endless recordings he had done.he will be missed:(... thanks for the music roger.

  • You might like to know that Roger Williams recently bought his Kapp master tapes from Universal Music Group meaning the pianist now owns the rights to his hits.

  • Roger Williams could really phrase a song on the piano like a singer..

    A great arrangement!

  • CLASSIC! GREAT!

  • I have the LP which I got at a yard sale last weekend, but it's in decent shape. It has the title track at the beginning of side 1. This is a pretty good song. Andy Williams later did a version of that song, and so does Lois Lane, the Disneyland Story Reader sang that one from the LP "Born Free/Living Free". The hit version is still the best. The first song that hit #1 was "Autumn Leaves" in 1955, and it was an instrumental hit and made Roger Williams a star.

  • Born Free has always been one of my favorite movies .Thanks for posting this great classic music !
