  • this movie is overrated, but still pretty good

  • OMG!!!! I haven't seen this flick since my days in high school. If I'm not mistaken,I believe this happens to be one of the last unrated horror flicks to be put out in theaters.

  • Kassie DePaiva, who was in this movie under her maiden name Wessley, referenced it in this year's halloween episode of "One Life To Live" where she plays Blair Cramer.

Her on screen daughter,Starr, sneaks up on her and scares her. Blair was like "Haven't you seen "Evil Dead 2"? LOL! Classic.

  • @bubbaali021 Actually the movie was originally released to theaters UNRATED. Also some of the scenes that Raimi filmed were NEVER INCLUDED in a cut of the movie as far as I know. Like a demon dismembered and more horror scenes with the Possessed Linda. Those scene never had a final edit to be placed in the movie. There's only the behind the scenes footage showing those parts unfinished.

  • These would have been awesome to see in theaters. LOVE the whole trilogy, but I only saw Army in theaters. I remember catching the first two originally back on the A&E network late at night when I was a kid. It was scary at the time but fascinating too. Really woke me up into being a true fan of both horror and film in general, because I was fascinated by the cheesy but fun effects and all.

  • @Magnolia296

    No Re-Animator?

  • @robatsea2009 AHH THE 80s HOW I MISS THOSE GOOD OLD DAYS

  • Evil Dead series became pure classic of Comedy/Horror genre. Bruce Campbell did a great job. Evil Dead 2 was a good as original and Army of Darkness. You can find many hilarious, entertaining and even shocking scenes. The 80's made awesome comedy/horror films like Evil Dead 1 and 2, House 1 and 2, Elvira Mistress of the Dark etc

  • @Johnlindsey289 Exactly. But what it lacked in gore it more than made up for with tension, suspense and a creepy, unsettling atmosphere. TCM 2,3 and The Beginning were all out gorefests though.
