  • how are you going to write your message in the card? that's what a card is for and you used the interior to put the pieces of paper.

  • @bela9365 I wrote my message above the coloured paper on the inside on the white paper insert i.e. above the DAD cut out. Then you can't see it through the front of the card =)

  • love the card, I have been on the verge of buying a silhouette and watching this video has made my mind up to get it. Can you please tell me what thickness of cardstock you use because I didn't think sil. could cut thick card, also what brand of cardstock do you generally use as the card looks great

    Lindiloop

  • @lindiloop Hurrah, another convert! No idea what thickness the card is I'm afraid - I buy mine in bulk from The PaperMill (UK). Some is a lot thicker than others and doesn't cut as well. But I also use a different blade to the standard Silhouette one and it cuts through thicker c.s. I'll PM you the details...

  • Love this card. Do have a question though, what screen casting software do you use?

  • @raynedrop1021 I use Camtasia Studio for the pc. It's very easy to use - I'd highly recommend it =)

  • Oeh! Looks great! I dont own à silhouet craft robo machine thingy, but i might get the same effect with some large letter templates and à craft knife.

Love youre cards and i enjoy watching youre vids. TFS!

  • @kim8mis I have only used the Craft Robo machine (which is the same as the Silhouette), but I can highly recommend it. I love my machine and used it a lot. A blog post comparing the Silhouette with the Cricut can be found here: kwernerdesign. com/blog/?p=2841 hope this helps. =)
