I don't get what's your problem. Not all cars have the same purposes. Why not say drop a grand piano on every 4-door family car because they're not fast enough? Likewise, a Ferrari doesn't have exactly the same purposes as a Porsche. In my humble opinion, Ferrari is more for showboating while Porsche is a pure sports car like you've said.
