Nice video! I did this trek (normal routing, reverse of yours) in 2001. One of the best on earth. Too bad I didn't have a video camera then (but check out some of my later treks on my youtube page). Your video makes me want to go back.

@torotaxi1
Good luck with that. Let me know if you post a video of it to YouTube.

Epic video, your series of videos are the best i've seen of the two classic Karakoram treks. Interesting you did the Gondogoro in reverse, most itineries i see do it from Askole. I only went to Concordia and back which was great but hopefully i can return and do the Gondogoro Pass as well as Snow Lake. By the way what video do you use? There's no camera shake when you are walking and the zoom is pretty clear. Hopefully my Canon S95 will do the job for me...thanks

@torotaxi1
I use a Panasonic TM10. It has an excellent zoom. A few of the walking shots were done with the camera mounted on a steadicam grip - it can be difficult to get it to balance, but once it does there's almost no shake.

Thanks for your comments. We took 12 days Askole to Concordia, which allowed us time to acclimatise properly. I don't think you could do the gondogoro la route in as little as 4 days.
