it worked straight out of the box.. with the original wine version shipped with fc7 (maybe it was updated by now, if so revert to the older version).
you do need to install the tahoma font though otherwise you cant read the steam dialogs.
so, do a search for tahoma.exe or something and execute that.
or you could also just copy the font dir from a windows install to your wine font dir.
wine probably also works best with a nvidia card.
