Michael Sweet of Stryper - Exclusive 2011 Interview

Michael Sweet is interviewed on Inside Heavy ( www.insideheavy.com ) about the new Stryper Album "The Covering". Michael also talks about Ronnie James Dio and slams Westboro Baptist Church for protesting Dio's memorial service stating "They're not Christians".

The Covering is a great album of metal song covers that Stryper grew up on including songs from Judas Priest, Kiss, Scorpions, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne and more!

Michael Sweet Rocks! So grateful to have grown up watching all Stryper had to endure, just to do what they love to do, & are called to do. True Soldiers, they are a light in a very dark place. God bless these guys, I hope and pray they are still at it for many years to come!

The Lord knows their motives & where their hearts are,everybody has a story & these guys are THE REAL DEAL,reguardless of what you hear,nobodys perfect they dont claim 2 be,they never have,so as Fastway says, 'Say what you will',it doesnt bother them & it doesnt bother me i know the truth & the truth will set you free & so do they!

living in sin is rejecting god to do what god hates, (rob halford) god dont want to shun anyone but on the other hand to lift up and glorify people that chose to reject jesus to live is sin is evil and very wrong (stryper will say its ok to go to judas priest concerts and stryper buys there albums and supports them, (god hates this) (satan loves it)

@mrcooldude964 This always turns up, Ozzy did not sing the song Heaven & Hell it was Dio so they are NOT covering Ozzy, and the bible calls us to LOVE everyone as we love ourselves, God loves everyone, and so must we, just because Halford is openly homosexual it doesn't mean we have to shun him, God is the only judge. Praise Jesus always :)

Im Christian but anti religious because I cannot accept organized religion. They come off as crazy and are legalists and over the top-not the good over the top-but kind of like what you just wrote..

what does god think about stryper playing. van halen, ozzy, judas priest,ect

judas priest - open homosexual singer

ozzy - self proclaimed prince of darkness

van halen - dont have to die and go to heaven or hang around to be born again,

it really the spirit of god wanting stryper to play these songs or is it demonic influence that stryper gave into causing them to play satans bands music

(dont be decieving in these last days) many will say jesus is the way but inwardly they are of satan
