I loved the 09 Bama team 14-0 , 09 had a geat defense and a NC , but the 2011 defense was the best I ever saw and that includes Bamas 92 def , and even though the 2011 offense was good , McCarron had problems overthrowing the deep & td throws so the 09 off was a little better in the red zone and had better kicker , better recievers (julio,Peek) but hands down the 2011 def was the greatest with another NC to go along with 09,

@wahcoleANDemery kicker and qb i agree, but its just ignorance if you say that the 09 defense is better, you realize that this defense is statistically the best defense in modern college football history (aka last 20-30 years) the 09 defense wasnt even the best defense that year statistically (TCU). and u left out rb, where richardson is blowing ingrams 09 numbers out of the water, and the offense as a whole is similar to 09.

@bamafan73191 i think they had the best team in 09...this season can't even compare. We had better defense, better quarterback, better kicker. lol

@wahcoleANDemery well that depends on what you mean by best football season, if you mean most exciting to watch and more memorable plays, then i agree with you, but if youre going by the best team, you cannot say the 2009 team is better than this one.
