Every year hundreds of over the road and even local Truck Drivers lose their life to an accident while driving. Many of these accidents are caused by motorists who just were not paying attention. In many cases it is discovered that the Truck Driver gave his/her own life to avoid killing a family in a car. PLEASE give way to large trucks. It takes approximately 10 times the stopping distance (on flat dry ground) to stop a big truck as it does your car. Please watch this video and be careful out there on America's Highways!

as a driver for over 20 years i have lost a lot of friends and good mates , so please take care on our roads and respect the heavy vehicles that use them aswell.

As a fellow trucker, its not all cars fault. I have seen many drivers txt and drive, speed, tail gate. Accidents are asham but mostly preventable

Thank You for this video. I greatly appreciate it, as a driver myself, and the son of a driver, it emans so much to me. May our brothers that may have lost their lives in this accidents may they rest in peace, till we all reach the big truck stop in the sky.

Thank you so much for this video. With tears rolling down my face, I said a prayer for all those who have lost their lives in big rigs. I too drive a big rig. Too all truckers and non truckers alike, may the good Lord ride with you each and every day.

my dads a truck driver as of 30 yrs. and being on the road with him i have seen wrecks like that first hand. and u never get over seeing that wreck happen. please be safe and pay attention on the roads.

Everone needs to show respect for each other on the road. Passenger vehicles must understand how long it can take for an 18-wheeler to yield to you. Truckers, please be aware of those who have no respect for anyone on the road and who are ignorant regarding semi-truck operations. Other drivers - calm down on the road - there is noting so important that you can't drive safely with regard to others. No one needs to lose their life........jsjohnson

My dad and my husband are both truckers. Please slow down and be safe out there. I want my family safe and whole at the end of the day.... as well as all your families. God Bless...
