Kung Pow 1

Way back in 1999, my friend and I shot this after attending the NPPA NewsVideo workshop in Norman, OK. The workshop is a kind of a boot camp for videographers. Anyway, we took this video as an example of some of what we'd learned to that same workshop in 2000 and showed it off to shooters from around the world. Then in 2002, Kung Pow, Enter the Fist, by Steve Oedekerk came out. Now I'm not claiming I influenced him in any way. Let's face it, Kung Fu parodies have a lot of the same gags. But I wonder if people who'd seen it at NNPA thought I had something to do with the movie.
