@MeriahD Maynard doesn't think hes a God at all, thats absurd. The reason hes so introverted and hidden at concerts is because he doesn't want to distract from the music. He wants the audience to focus their attention on the song itself, not on him. And yeah, a large portion of Tool fans say "OMG MAYNARD IS GOD!" but thats because we deify lead singers in general. The other members of Tool are more talented at their respective instruments than Maynard is at singing, in my opinion

@MeriahD we have Chevelle because of Tool. They've openly admitted that Tool is one of their biggest musical influences.. Stop comparing; appreciate each band for their individual unique qualities.

@LTMartin41 here's the thing.......Maynard considers himself a "God" and that he is above being in the presence of anyone even at his own concerts, you don't even see him he is always behind some screen or TV. He never wants to be interviewed and there was even a video of him gyrating on a fan for getting up on stage to just get a hug from him. You would never see Dave Grohl do that.....just saying.
