HI does anyone have an orchestra score of this concerto? Please help. My student is playing it this year..

@X2Y19Z I have been playing since I was 4 (Now I'm 21)
I quit playing some years ago but now I'm starting over again and this one is my very first piece since then...
Its difficult, but the effort is surely worth it...

I love this work, and for the most part, it's played well here, but the bassoon is horribly out of tune here.

I think it's a pitty, that extremely many cellotheachers want their pupils start with this piece too soon. I had the luck of a very good teacher. Although i evan wanted to play haydn C -Cello concerto, he let ne wait until I was good enough. If some of you experiance this concerto as too difficult, you should tell ypur teacher and first try something less difficult. That's the only way i can tell you, and I'm a celloteacher myself, now. It doesn't help learning if the literature is too difficult

My cello teacher wants me to start working on this piece for my school's senior soloist competition :) I haven't heard it before but now I'm super excited!
at 4:43 it is written to do that in one bow stacotto, the copy of the violin's version, but on cello. i want to try that, but i have no idea how. can someone put up a tutorial or something for that if they know how and tell me?

If I remember correctly, was the bow staccato added by editor Rudolf Hindemith and not the original intention of Golterman himself. I don't like the sound of the bow staccato there, for me it sounds too technical and so i didn't use it.
