We turn to Deepak Chopra, one of the genuine sages or our age, for insights into the mind-body-spirit interplay. In this segment, Deepak describes the effect of a deep spiritual experience. According to the ancient wisdon traditions of India, when you get in touch with your spirit, you experience love, knowingness/intuition and happiness. In physical terms, this means that your body produces serotonin and dopamine - the happy hormones; oxytocin - the pleasure hormone, and opiates - which provide a feeling of intoxication and help regulate the immune system.

  • It is so interesting to look on these videos and see venemous comments. Evergy healing is actually well docomunted, if the narrow minded people that make such negative comments would like to get off their lazy butts and do the research. If you don't believe it works, then why are you folks wasting time out of your life on these boards being nasty and making comments on subjects about which no have no knowledge or wisdom to offer. WTF, Why are you on here if you really think it's all BS?

  • sending this guy love light peace and happiness

  • First die and then come back to prove or not prove there is spirit. Till then stop debating. There's only one world, one God. The God within yourself who thinks love than hatred, who thinks of peace than violence. Yes, you are God only if you realize it.

  • Cannabis (Cannabinoids) cures ... Cancer!

  • A lament for the ignorant who, in their folly, flock to a deception more palatable than reality.

  • haters are welcome to this person

  • Chopra just exploits people's ignorance of science and innate desire for harmony. I mean this video wasn't so bad, he just listed some neurotransmitters (and no, serotonin is not a hormone even though people call it "the happiness hormone"). What exactly does he mean "in scientific terms the soul is..."? What field of science?

  • The host and hostess seem very sincere.
