I am not being disrespectful ( I married into a pentecostal family) I do not practice their religion. My question is: why to young girls wear their hair UP? It looks so much nicer down (the way God made it). Wearing it down in a natural way looks much less pretentious to me.

That is what I thought too a few years ago :) I was Baptist...then made the change over to Pentecost and I love it even more :) Anything is weird if you don't know about it! And we Pentecostals view our hair in a totally different way than most Christians. It is our glory given to us by God :)
