Saw her at a club in the Sixties. Without a doubt- to this day- the most beautiful woman I ever saw! She stopped all talk when she walked in a place! Had a very luminous quality and was not at all stuck-up. Very sweet. I'll never forget her.

Cause you can't get emotional when hearing the crap that put out today except to curse it.

We took all the wonderful talent for granted back then.

This song was very prophetic - she was destroyed (along with her innocence) by the cruel duel standards and duplicitous people around her. Yes, this is her song - just as "Sympathy for the Devil" is Mick Jagger's.

I vividly remember this catatonic performance on "Hullabaloo." We much preferred her version to Mick's original, and love that oboe or English Horn or whatever it is that makes this so special. I could not then and can not now understand what she is saying to Brian Epstein, but I sure loved her music and thought she was angelic. We learned later that she was not, but she bowled us over on this side of the pond back in the day. Thanks for posting this.
