After all, if these so-called "Pro-Choicers" are really pro-choice, would they not want everyone to see the truth with regards to the nature of abortion? This is an excellent point. Violence is shown on television and in movies all the time, and real life violence is shown on the Internet and on the news, so why do those who identify as pro-choice object to the reality of the result of an abortion? It IS a legal procedure after all, why not let the public see exactly what it does so they can make an informed decision?

Why is it that the answer to this debate has to be either pro-life or pro-choice? Why can't both sides come together to ask the question "how do we create a world in which there aren't unwanted children who have the potential to be born into loveless circumstances"?

@227Morgan - there are people standing in line who want to have children (they are unable to have children themselves). Hence, no child should ever be unwanted when one considers adoption. And, even if a child is unwanted -- does that justify murdering the child? No, it does not.

@Hexl702 To be honest, it would further justify my opinion. Legal or illegal, abortion is still wrong, I don't just want it illegal, I want it gone altogether. Such an image as you describe just shows the pain and what's wrong with abortions.

I have been to several pro-lite forums where there's been "Click here for graphic pictures"

and many pro-lighters said, 'No, I cant bring myself to look, I couldn't bear it."

Should we force THEM to look? Make it a law that they have to? Or is it possible to grasp the issue without resorting to lurid images and rubbing their face in the blood?

yOU WANT TO WHY because we know it is not a happy thing but this is a free country and we have the choice to have an abortion or not to have one and i do not hate pro lifers in general i have alot of friends who are pro life (those friedns are also gun owners, meat eaters, and have family members in the military dosent make much sense does it?) what i hate are the people trying to take away my right of choice in a FREE COUNTRY so all you people standing on the street F*CK OFF!!!!!!!

I've heard before "that isn't a real image!". What do pro-choicers mean when they say that? Do they honestly think we faked these images? That when a partial-birth abortion happens, it's not a mutilated little human being... it's a beautiful little mess? Pro-choicers are offended because these images are the product of what happens when humans have the choice to kill other humans.
