  • I MISS MERLIN!:(

  • At 2:12 there, he says that the maximum altitude of the F-18 is 50,000 feet. Anyone know why he said that? It's because military regulations say that flight above 50,000 feet can only be done wearing a full body pressure suit....a space suit basically. Because if the cabin should become unpressurized above 50,000 feet, the body outgases oxygen faster than you can breath it in...even under emergency oxygen bottle pressures. Thus you need a full body pressure suit. The plane can go much higher.

  • and the big questin how much money do blue angel pilots make

  • blue angels are number one

  • some of the greatest pilots in the world, it's incredible what they do. I seriously doubt they do it all for recruitment, I'd be doing that just to fly and have a funner time than anyone in the world

  • Really nice nice interview. I have a strong interest in aviation, hence Blue Angels rule. Anyhoo, I smiled when Lt Cmdr Craig Olson commented on how he broke the sound barrier this morning..is that kewl or is that KEWL! Go Craig. See you @ JAX Bch in Nov '09.
