@joejoejoejoe135 Oh. My. God. You're right, I've never thought of that. It totally stacks! And that makes the Storm Leviathan's first attack 10 damage X2 (20) and then 12 damage x2 (24)=44. Wow. Never even realized that. Thanks so much for this comment. It's amazing!

i believe finest hour is better then what your saying. the exakted truggers go off again. for example T4 rafiq, T5 finest hour. attack 5/5 double strike, then untap and swimg with a 7/7 double strike

@thatguywithyourfry I don't want too much control, because in large multiplayer you quickly become a major target. And I am getting a Sphinx! Yay!

@thatguywithyourfry How does he run it? Aggro or more like mine, with a balance and variety?

I didn't see all your other videos so I'm not sure if he's in there, but Vigor with Empyrial Archangel have really nice synergy together. Granted Vigor will have a big target on his head, but it will definitely stop your opponents from attacking you until he's gone. I sometimes Tooth & Nail for these two in my Rafiq deck :)

@st0mpf3st I didn't run Vigor then and I don't now. I hear your point, but since this deck is PRIMARILY multiplayer, having Vigor is like having a bullseye on my chest asking to be shot. I am considering putting in Tooth and Nail (need to find room) for just being awesome in general, but Vigor (with his 3 green cost) is difficult to fit. I'll definitely keep it in mind, though, thanks a lot.

I enjoyed your primer, my deck has become very aggro and my meta shifted more and more to combo which put me a bit behind. I'm taking out some of the fatties for more utility creatures (Ulamog, akroma are going out). One thing that's defintely never leaving now is blightsteel colossus.

@TheStarfox567 Well, that card is a one-two punch with Rafiq/Finest hour. But I understand and sympathize. I would recommend cards like Mindbreak Trap (now for me a sideboard) to undo pesky combo plays or counter wars. Maybe put in more land destruction lands (aka Wasteland, Tec-edge, ghost quarter, strip mine, etc) to get rid of combo land pieces (like Cabal Coffers). Those two fatties don't seem viable. Maybe use cards like Snapcaster mage, Kira Great Glass spinner, etc. Luck!

Your deck is quite good but u need soverings of lost alara + eldrazi conscription easy one shot combo :D

@StreeetLethal Two concerns (and you can check out the updated video further up to see what more I've edited so far): 1) Sovereigns is a bit weak without more Auras, and I have found auras to not hold up in high removal metas (like mine) and 2) That would be used in a Rafiq focused deck. This doesn't really use him on his own, he acts more as a buff on my REAL scary guys (aka Inkwell Leviathan, Empyrial, etc) But thanks for the comment :D
