Directed by Paavo Hanninen
Produced by Elliott McPherson
On Halloween, 2008, the Dexateens traveled out to "Old Bryce", the abandoned Jemison Mental Hospital on the outskirts of their hometown, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, in an attempt to conjure up whatever spirits might still lurk there.
They took their guitars, recording equipment, and a handful of songs.
Things did not go according to plan.
Part 2: In which a 2nd journey is proposed and carried out, another song is performed, and an unexplained encounter occurs.
Beautiful.

A song like this, I think, would make the pain of such a building just slip away.

At least you found an understanding policeman. I've always wanted to visit that building. I think you found a beautiful way to do this. Music and song is much more respectul to the poor souls who may remain in Old Bryce than say graffiti and negative provoking.
