Bangladeshi workers stranded in Jordan - 7 March 09

Hundreds of Bangladeshi workers are trapped in Jordan after the textile factory they worked for was shut down.

Their employer has left the country, and the labourers are surviving in squalid conditions while authorities try to work out what to do.

Nisreen el-Shamayleh reports from the dispute in Irbid in northern Jordan.
