@capitalismforme In any event, that happened 10 years ago and Mickey obviously was an open minded individual. A few years later I ended up touring the world with Rascal Flatts and I made a few million. Life worked out just fine for me
Mickey tried to get me on stage to play with Willie back 10 years ago. During their concert in Houston Texas, Mickey asked Willie but Willie was having no part of it. I guess Willie didn't hear me warm up earlier in the day. A lot of people say Willie is a sociable cat, unfortunately, I never was able to come to the same conclusion.
Bill is easy to like- I'm very fond of him... I listened to his radio program nightly during the time I had a Run from Austin to Dallas everynight and remember his last show at WBAP. Bill stayed on after his show that nite and the WBAP morning crew gave him his send off. I figured it would be sentimental but it was almost a Roast!.. very funny and touching too. Love this video- the Midnight Rider and Midnight Cowboy! 2 of my heroes... clinging to a saving hand.
@capitalismforme Willie is a quiet guy have met him more times than I can count.

How old is Bill Mack anyway? He talked about talking to Hank senior for a radio show, so he's gotta be.... what....82 or 83? I'm just curious.
