@AlvarezGalloso There are hundreds of stations, still broadcasting on shortwave! It's the main tool for reaching the audience in whole Africa, South Asia, Central and South America and the Pacific.

Nice Video, i'm just now getting back into Shortwave Radio, I used to listen to it years ago. Now, i've got to start over again, i've got a 1940's Philco model, Knight Star Roamer, Realistic Dx-200, Heathkit Sw-717 and a Grundig Mini 300 WBR. 73's SSB-139L

Very nice. I used a Realistic DX-160 for many of this airchecks. I have later recordings that I also used a Realistic DX-440. I have a restored Hallicrafters SX-99 in my bedroom. But all the stations are going off the air. Radio Prague shuts down in two days!!
