What justifies the high price of led? Look at the material? Very tiny pieces of metal and plastics? IT SHOULD COST 20 TIMES LESS THEIR PRICE.
Until prices of leds matches or is bellow compact fluorescent I'll stick with compacts.
China is the one to profit from the stupid people in a hurry for a cheap low tech sold at gold's price. As a matter of fact they think that LEDS ARE BETTER THAN A GOLD MINE.

i agree with ALEX, LEDs (especially the ones in this video) look like shit. theres nothing better than a traditional incandescent light. it looks more natural.

@alex45598 How so? I think the color of the light given off by that bulb is amazing! They're fully capable of giving off different colors of light as well, so if you prefer a reddish/orangish tinge to your light, those can be manufactured as well.

60 watts is 30 times 2... that's not 98% less power. Just throwing that out there.

For an LED bulb to be able to replace a 60 watt incandescent it would have to use a minimum of 6 watts of power like the Pharox LED which right now, is the best on the market. This video is crap

Nah, its just a colder colour and directional, its an illusion. I've got three 5 watt Philps gls style lamps here in my study and they are brighter than a 25 watt GLS but less than a 40 watt. I am all in favour of LED lamps but lets not make stupid claims about them.
