judging by the transition effects, speed & the lens in front of the camera that is not the same N97 we got.

recommend you DON'T use the lens cover - any grit trapped underneath will scratch the lens - I have taken some nice pix with this phone!

I have this phone and I have spent a bit of time with it - setting it up. What you really really need to do with this phone is to UPDATE IT. Either use the internal update menu - or - better still download Nokia Suite and Update software to your Pc/Laptop and install the very latest Firmware updates/maps and so on - IT WILL make all the difference. My N97 is much better then the one I purchead last week. Also - make sure you only use the MASS STORAGE to save pics/vids AND new APPS!!

Apple just brought the iphone on the market WAY TOO EARLY. A good phone needs its time. They didnt "copy" the iPhone, i would rather say they started to work on such phones just as early as apple did.
the Iphone is no match for a N97.
