Simply love the classic mini. Had to sell my first mini due to too much rust in the frame and subframes so no new MOT. Couldnt stand not having a mini so I bought a '83 1000 HLE. Road tax free :) And now, after some very annoying ignition problems it spins like a dream!

Excellent video. The original "Giant Killer", Fiat Abarth and Steyr Puch notwithstanding!!!!
The bane of every "boy-racer" on a narrow country road. The only thing which could stay with it was a Lotus. More fun in an affordable package than anything else. Loved my Mini, well, Wolseley Hornet, with a Derrington Alloy head etc. The video is much appreciated.

@CarManiac82 it also drives like one...I love to drive mine in small country roads...even though my mini 1000 tops at 120 kmh, the impression of speed is great and it sticks to the road like velcro

I was born on the 6th august the same as day as my Mini only the Mini is 14 years older haha.

@CarManiac82 well it was out of the factory in 81 actually because that was when production here ceased but she was first registered in 82 :D. 29 years young mate

@EduardSk8 I live in USa this car is almost impossible older mini to get in USA very very rare car... ive seen only ONCE !!! here in Chicago where I live, on a race track its so little and nimble quick on turns like a gokart was fun to watch :)

alot of people dream about Mclaren's, Ferrari's, Lambo etc.. My DREAM CAR is a Classic Mini :)

@kaleigh79 Thats the spirit :o) well its affordable so the dream can become REality its hard to find... and I fell in love with Fiat Abarth 500 new one i dont know but these small cars make u more happy :P they have soul...
