What a beautiful song. I love the soundtrack, and the lyric paints another dimension to the entire experience.

Eric Carmen sounds EXACTLY like Eric Carmen. Just as I finish getting cheered up by the Grass Roots, he has me in tears here. The emotion that comes out in the voice and piano just wipes me out. "It blows my mind" as we used to say.
He gets to me just as I run out of my last box of tissues after "the cold from Hades."
And I love it.
To tell you the truth, now I'm getting to know most of EC's songs, too!
