Really he is French? is that why his name is ZINEDINNE ZIDANE? It's funny how the French only claim as French the immigrants who are successful. the other ones are called Arabs, beurs or even some racist callings like 'racaille, bougnoule ect..)

@kommondoss1 One who is not proud of there identity is one that should not be dealt with. If you cant confirm where your from or who you are then your a traitor. You are most likely religious while I'm not. Dont mix religion w/ politics or football.They have there own proper place and subject. You are only belittling yourself when you talk about religion.Go to your mosque and pray for yourself and not for others.You obviously have trouble with other religions.Why dont u live in a muslim country?

@westside121812 it is not my view on religion,,it is fact, we are muslims,,despite the fact that there are some attempts by people who want to mislead our nation by narrating wrong history, are you telling me that zinedine yazid were given by french,,algerians are muslims and thats it , and if you have problem with it, keep it to your self, therefore, it is a principle and not a mere view on religion,,i wish i am an arab,,,if you are algerian and love algeria, just say zidane is a great player.

@kommondoss1 Just an enlightenment for those who are not aware. The french gave arab last names throughout all of algeria including kabyle villages to facilitate there way of colonizing algeria. In order for Imperialists to follow through with colonizing they had to exterminate cross cultures and traditions. Hence the last name zidane. Btw a word for the wise dont mix your view on religion with a video on Zidane it just shows your level of thought.
