Judas Priest are an English heavy metal band from Birmingham, formed in 1969. Judas Priest's core line-up consists of bass player Ian Hill, vocalist Rob Halford and guitarists Glenn Tipton and K. K. Downing. The band has gone through several drummers, though Scott Travis has held the position since 1989. They have been cited as an influence on many heavy metal musicians and bands. Their popularity and status as one of the definitive heavy metal bands has earned them the nickname "Metal Gods" from their song of the same name. They have sold over 35 million albums worldwide.

We've taken too much for granted
And all the time it had grown
From techno seeds we first planted
Evolved a mind of its own

Marching in the streets
Dragging iron feet
Laser beaming hearts
Ripping men apart

From off I've seen my perfection
Where we could do as we please
In secrecy this infection
Was spreading like a disease

Hiding underground
Knowing we'd be found
Fearing for our lives
Reaped by robot's scythes

Metal Gods
Metal Gods

[Solo Glenn]

Metal Gods
Metal Gods

Machines are taking all over
With mankind in their command
In time they'd like to discover
How they can make their demand

Better be the slaves
To their wicked ways
But meeting with our death
Engulfed in molten breath

  • @junkie161 whomever uploaded this probably did it from a CD which skipped

  • The prince of metal, sabbath is the king!

  • The high point of 2011 for me you may ask? Well, it's not much but it was SEEING THE METAL GODS LIVE, FRONT ROW! Fucking amazing concert.

  • For any other band, this title would be considered as egocentric. For judas priest, it is proper to use that name for a song like that.

  • @ejl1000 they didnt just want the name, THEY EARNED IT DUDE!!!

  • METAL
