This the first part of my Oni Combo Guide. It is meant to show useful links and combos that can be used in actual matches. There is a lot covered in this video but certainly not everything. These combos display what I have found useful and I am sharing them in hopes that they will help Oni players level up. From beginners to advanced players, these should come in handy. Enjoy.

@Shintroy Haven't recorded it yet brah. Have it scripted but not recorded. I've been hellah busy lately so it's gonna be a bit before it's uploaded. Also, I noticed that the longer a video is, especially a tut, the faster people lose interest. Breaking it up into shorter was just better for me on all levels.

some of the combos here won't work online because they rely on target combo 2, whose second punch whiffs on crouching opponents and sets oni up for a counter-hit combo. TC2 should only be used as punish, after focus crumble and in a long combo against a confirmed standing opponent.

@ac1th I don't understand what online has to do with connecting TC2. I stated in the video that it doesn't connect on crouching opponents and showed a variation of it. You can link TC2 online so long as you can confirm the opponent is standing. It's also a great punish for whiffed attacks so it can be used for much more than just after a lvl 3 focus crumple.

@ac1th First off man, the beginning of the video clearly states that not everything is included in the guide. There are just too many possibilities to incorporate into a 5 min video. Having said that, I showed each normal link so that players can come up with their own combos. Cross up Mk, c.Lk, c.Lp, c.Hp, Hk Tatsu can be created with the links I've shown in the video. Also, Ex Slash, b+Mp, Ex Slash etc. is a reset, and not a combo. If the opponent can block, you'll be lucky to get one rep.

@Dreamking2323 Don't get me wrong on my attitude here. Thanks for putting the video out. I want to put the ex slash combo out here in the comments because it has won me countless matches and probably got me from 6k bp to 9k bp all on its own (pc stats, nothing fancy). You'll cover it in the second video I hope.

So I understand Ex slash, back MP xx any other slash xx grab/stomp/cLK is a gimmick, but it's probably the most powerful oni has. It's confusing and hard to counter.

@4evil2me I was referring to "online" players as in "real" opponents, as opposed to the training dummy in this video. Since they crouch and sometimes spam invincible moves, TC2 is very risky outside of what dreamking and I wrote.
