Title track from their 1980 album.

Lyrics:

When we're dancing on the lawn
Pink flamingos on the lawn
White music in the street
White music in the street
When we're swimming in the pool
Pink flamingo barbeque
White music before dark
White music before dark

Take it like it is
No blues, no beat
Take it like it is
No roots, it's just neat
To play white music in the street

When the band plays at the club
Pink flamingos country club
White music for dessert
White music after work

Take it like it is
No blues, no beat
Take it like it is
No roots, it's just neat
To play white music in the street

  • i got to see them live, sold them french fries and even got my converse sighned by them

  • No blues, no beat, no roots.....it's just neat! Decades ahead of their time--they never did get their props.

  • Wow! the lettering on this is strikingly similar to that of Metallica's 80's-era logo! Must be where Metallica got the idea!

  • best song

  • daredevilpre..back then, if you were from anywhere close to Maryland, Crack The Sky was just as big as most bands. They just had a screwed up record lable supporting them. Just like most bands out of Maryland. The Ravyn's are a perfect example.

  • I Love It!!!! White Music!!! lol

  • They were musical giants. Growing up outside Baltimore I thought Crack the Sky was as big as Black Sabbath .
