Hey, limitup58, you and I have something in common: I also did a stint in Texas (N. Central Tex). It was a shock after a lifetime in the upper midwest and northeast. 50 degrees most days in the winter? That was weird -- but kind of nice for a while. Snow became a once or twice a winter treat that came, looked pretty, and then went away quickly. And autumn? Forget about it. Dreary and brown. I did miss the four seasons. But 5-6 mos. of winter where I now live is too much for me!
I am from the North and now live in tropical south Texas It get old quick also very ugly here. I want to move back north to Gods Country!!! Where the air and water is clean and it don't smell like ass all the time.( oil plants in Texas) and maybe tacos hahahahahah
As one whose lived most his life in genuine, four season locales (ie, places with a real winter), I have to agree in part: a snowy, frigid landscape "sure does look nice; very pretty"; doesn't "live" so good, though!Novelty wears off pretty quickly.
we are missing this stuff...lol
