CHINESE ARTS IN ENGLISH - FOR ENGLISH SPEAKING STUDENTS. "It makes sense!" :D Of course it does.
Autumn Chinese Magpie - Celebrating Chinese Brush Painting.
This evening as Autumn is in I thought i would paint a very wet Magpie and try to practice. It is cold now. Winter creeps in.
Its quite pleasant to see that the Racist team at SF108 have finally started to learn from US here in England :) and have posted an Autumn Magpie as well.
The funny thing is, they do not understand the joke of "Autumn Magpie." otherwise they would definitely NOT have posted one as well. :D
Keep warm and keep smiling. ;)

  • @DANILISHINA "GREAT! I have also this book, wow, what a beauty, completely another world, thinking, feeling the tenderness of flashing moment..."

Hello Danilishina, lovely to hear from you.All my materials are from the oldest mines, ink stick factory, brush makers and so on, red star also.I try very hard and have the patience to buy direct from China now and it is quite wonderful.

It is good to hear from you. I hope you take the camera next time you go to China.

    Best wishes always. xxx

  • GREAT! I have also this book, wow, what a beauty, completely another world, thinking, feeling the tenderness of flashing moment...Unfortunately, "modern" China has only some fragments of those astonishing culture, starting to prefere money and material thinks. I travel there each year so I can see quick prosperity-but on the other hand buyed back step by step by forgotting old traditions..Nevertheless China still keeps something very touching and wise.

  • @DennisOnshaw "love the still photo at 1:50..."

Hi Dennis.... Yes, that kind of does work doesn't it with the new border of Blackberries for Autumn.

But I prefer 2:37 :o) and also more so 3:19 I work hard on their eyes as tiny as they are. I find the whole paintings life depends on the spark of life in their eyes.
