Choreographers Comment:
Wayward Glances examines the longing for and fear of intimacy. At the end of the section DRAW FIRST BREATH, the first inkling of sensuality starts to emerge, culminating in a tender kiss between Brad and Christine. In the section seen here, EVERYBODY WANTS YOU, Brad immediately forgoes that relationship and goes on a carnal romp until exhaustion. The music is deliberately cheeky and ironic (a souped-up version of Falling in Love Again) and starkly different than the previous section. The dance movement has an almost circus-like, rough-and-tumble quality with a slightly sardonic twist.
