  • Are Baden out of business?

Does Ayers exsist? Can´t get in contact with the company via mail. Pherhaps noone speaks english??

  • @bonasignalen they still exist but the ayers factory most dont speak english

  • ahem, why is my previous post flagged as junk post? It's pretty helpful for quick comparison...

  • @hipsukun Its a misunderstanding i may have pressed the wrong button...now its restored

  • Hi Jarvis ! I've been watching your reviews for quite a while now and I love everything you do. Keep up the good work ! I actually do have a question for you. Being that these guitars were made in the Ayers factory, how would you say they compare to the Ayers guitars in build quality, playability and sound ? Do you have a preference ? Also I must say that the Badens in this video all sound great. They seems to have a nice modern contemporary sound without being overly bright. Ciao =]

  • @CBourgeois77 I have played several Ayers . funny it seems even though Both are made in the same factory.the Badens seems to have way better QC in terms of the overall end product. Badens sound comtemporary but not that bright and because they are hand made the guitars will aged beautifully. They are built lightly but no overly light so you get the structural intergrity as well as the tonal responsiveness found on higher end guitar. Many after playing it are amazed how good they sound

  • Very nice and very instructive. Thanks for doing the wood comparison, it's a fascinating topic with not nearly enough actual sound comparisons available.

  • No capo:

    1:14 Sitka/Koa, 2:52 Sitka/Maple, 4:46 Cedar/Ovangkol, 7:03 Engelnman/Rosewood

    With a capo:

    1:45 Sitka/Koa, 3:27 Sitka/Maple, 5:19 Cedar/Ovangkol, 7:38 Engelnman/Rosewood

One more time with a capo:

    9:46 Sitka/Koa, 10:19 Sitka/Maple, 9:18 Cedar/Ovangkol

  • i love ovangkol. wish it was more available. full koa is still the best tho in my mind
