  • I mentioned I had a Jaguar built as a kit in the 60's by the Heathkit company. I understand your desire for a well taken care of Jaguar, although it was a Heathkit it was indeed a Vox thoroughly. The red top Vox organs wood cases tend to become fragile and things come loose- the tone generator boards are held in by one tiny and short screw. During airplane transport mine broke in several places including a cracked circuit board. Tell your seller to pack soft material over AND under the red top!

  • @paulj0557 Thanks for your kind message. I think so,too. Vox organ is very delicated. So it's a worthful valuable.

  • crazy... only one octave for the bass?

  • @onosson Yes! That's a really Combo Organ!

  • @onosson - Yeah, but what an octave it is! The low end on this thing is amazing.

  • Sounds like what was used by Capcom in some of their NES games.

  • I can feel the electricity through the sound, love the way it bips simply and powerfully. Nice playing, kind of game boy groove.

  • That was hot! I was wondering..what's a good price for one of these in good and working condition? Thanks

  • Raspy and nasal, I like!

  • whats the song called? please

  • that sounds really cool. Almost sounds like a Sega Genesis or SNES. I bet if you put it through some phase shifter it would sound almost like a 70s string machine like an ARP Solina.

  • What do you think about some of the early 70's Electones? I have a Yamaha B4cr that I just found to replace one I had lost about 10 years ago. I got lucky and found one in great working order for $25 usd at a yard sale. These Electones were smaller 'apartment size' spinets. They are transistor oscillator organs even though there are some IC's ( integrated circuits) in the organ they still are very transistor sounding. The B4cr has a built in fast/slow Leslie, reverb, 13 pedals, drums w/ balance.

  • Do you know if these are any different from a synthesizer without any filters, LFOs, ADSR control and all that? Is this comparable to a warmer sounding casiotone?
