Was Jim's serious bite in Dec 2010 from the snake doubling back over the top of the tube? Are there particular types of snakes that are much quicker than others and make tubing a real danger? Thanks!

If you get bitten by the guyana rattlesnake , even if you go straight to the hospital , you ll die in several minutes. These snakes are not a joke

What the Venom good for?

Our computer skills are too lacking to make longer videos right now. lol.
But, we will probably make several parts, so you can see other snakes react.

why does he release the snake after the milking process? then do it again. cant he hold the snake on the milking table and wait for the venom to poor down the bottle?

@jassoe What you are seeing is different snakes being extracted from, not the same snake over and over. I'm not sure what else you are asking, but if you mean why not take the bottle to the snake, it is becaue it is safer to have the bottle held by the podium and not your hands.

Is it true that you can go blind as a result of a bite from a Neo-Tropical rattlesnake?
ToonandBBfan 1 year ago
@ToonandBBfan You can, but it would be the result of injury to the optic nerve, which is possible because these snakes have a strong neurotoxin. The venom would not direclty affect the eye.
