Soko J-22 Orao Serbian Air Force

The Soko J-22 Orao (Eagle) is a twin-engined, subsonic, close support, ground attack and tactical reconnaissance aircraft, with secondary capability as low level interceptor. It was built as a single-seat main attack version or as a combat capable two-seat version for advanced flying and weapon training. It was developed as a joint Yugoslav-Romanian project in the 1970s for the air forces of both nations, SOKO building it in Yugoslavia, and Industria Aeronautică Română as the IAR-93 in Romania.

@nidzaPFC hey thanks for the info, I always wondered what happened to all the Yugoslav planes built by their industries after the break up, I imagine it would be hard to service them since some factories were in Croatis and Bosnia

@tHeWasTeDYouTh Yes, also i think it was used in 1999 to shoot down cruise missiles, UAV MQ-1 Predator and similar, 47 UAVs were shoot down, so j-22 probably got few hits. This planes are still flying today in 2011 ;)
