Dissolving metallic sodium in liquid ammonia, to form sodium electride.
It's a solution of sodium-kations and free solvatated anionic electrons.

Lösen von metallischem Natrium in flüssigem Ammoniak unter Bildung von Natriumelektrid, einer Lösung von Natrium-Ionen und freien, solvatisierten Elektronen.

  • Is it "liquid ammonia" or "liquid ammonia" ??

    Ha ha ha, I mean,

Was that a "Ammonia in water" solution or "Liquified Ammonia" ??

  • @911Rstar it's liquified ammonia, a few seconds before the video started, i took the testtube out of a dewar, filled with liquid nitrogen as refrigerant.

  • I put the test-tube into a dewar with liquid nitrogen
