I'm sorry to say this. But your guinea pig isn't playing.. He's biting at it, he's threathened. Also, when the ball got close and he didn't strike out I saw him chattering his teeth. Which also means he feels threathened.

What DuckyForPresident said is true, you're stressing him out and irritating him. You can't treat them like dogs, they are not the same. Every time you throw the ball at him he thinks he is being attacked. That can't be enjoyable for any animal!!

Guinea pigs get defensive when they are in hiding spots. They are fond of close spaces because it's a natural adaptation to avoid predators. So don't stick your fingers near their mouth when they are hiding. xD

It's like he's trying to bite the ball..hehe
I discovered he did that just by chance. One day I kicked the ball and came back to me... that's when I realized the piggy did it!!
