@robertgift Alot of departments have there apparatus painted black over red. Chicago of course is best known for it. They began painting the top of the cabs black in honor of fallen firefighters.

The "Mars" lights are an expensive worthless fun gimmick.
Lights would be far more effective if coordinated to flash ALL ON/ALL OFF

All of our trucks have a black over red paint
Yes it is a true Roto-Ray
We just like the way the Mars lights look
Thats the way the lights were set up from the factory
