iraq vet here. i have been taught to uphold my military bearing until the the day i die. however, if you choose to spit on the names of my fallen brothers in arms, present or past, i will lose this bearing, and i would be glad to spend a night jail just to knock you out.

What a bunch of lunatics!!! Even if they don't agree with the current conflict, why would they harm a symbol of a conflict that ended over 30 years ago? It simply doesn't make sense. The Desecration of a memorial is just disgusting on so many levels. I bet the only thing they know about service is when they say "would you like that super sized?". They should take these people and make a permanent outhouse on their dead relatives grave that's for military use only. Think they would mind then?

you have no idea how much this memorial means to people. it is the exact same thing, if a group of protestors wanted to desecrate the canadian flag. i dont like the idea that we are at war, but nonetheless.........i support the fighting men and women of this country.
