Another gem turned into a pile of shit by Square Enix. Taking an old game that people will want to play for reasons of nostalgia and making it something completely different. Who the hell are you catering to?

The %$&*? Is that supposed to be Maxim? Guy is that, NO that is not Guy! This GAME was cursed by the gods!

This is a rip off of "Y's; The Ark of Napishtim". Just my opinion.

@WhiteFighter I feel so relieved that at least the new Golden Sun game stayed true to the origonals.

@MichaelAlmeida2320 Rofl..thats why its named, Estpolis the Land Cursed by the Gods, and Lufia II was Lufia II:Sinistral Battle. Its the same game, but a different type of concept and such. Kind of like what they did with Silent Hill 1 and Silent Hill:Shattered Memories.

Sad but true. Just seeing how it's not even turn-based anymore makes it feel nothing like Lufia II. Don't know why all modern games have to be about running around while fighting, when making up tacticswhile facing a new boss is so much more interesting. :/

@PonchoJose0750 i also finish the snes lufia games 100% and i love to finish games and explore everything around them world. When one game is good, i dont mind how much strong is the enemies and how much i try to kill them, in that case i can train to up level. I am playing GBA lufia and i like it, but i still like much more both of SNES. This NDS lufia have nothing to do with the original one, i still think this way.
Well take care.

Stop there.. did i ever said that final fantasy is an action-rpg? I just said that this Lufia remake looks like an A-rpg-final fantasy.. but i know that FF is not an A-RPG, i just mix 2 examples. Anyway the battle system is not the same on FF and lufia. Lufia let u see the enemies on the map (not on world map), and final fantasy no. I know that this detail is so little 2 some people, but 2 me made a big diference because in each ff i got a bit tired of random battles. I finish SNES lufia games.
Wow, you're a bit ignorant, aren't you? To instantly lash out at people who are dissatisfied with this "remake" and call them fanboys with no clear evidence to back up that overused claim. To make things clear as well, I'm not a fan of 7 and I actually find it inferior to most of the other games.
Also, anyone who has played the original version of this game was probably ecstatic to find out that they would be able to play this Snes gem again.
Continues in next post......

So you can expect people to be unhappy with it, since what they wanted, and what they got, aren't the same thing.
I personally think most people who played the original games will try this, but what their reaction will be, who knows.
Oh, and to believe SE when they say that they're going to be "hands off" with a title they own, is like believing a fat kid when he tells you he's not going to eat that cake when you leave the room, it's just not going to happen.
