This is a wonderful slide show of photos of the glorious Scottish Borders taken by Beth Maxwell Boyle and set to the original harp music of Jo Morrison. The tunes are The Juggler/Courtly Ladies. Jo Morrison is on the Celtic Harp and her husband Wayne is on shuttle pipes. Jo Morrison is well known for her evocative interpretation of Scottish and Irish music on the harp.

  • Yeah double spooky I can trace mine to the Maxwells who were shepherds in the Borders.

  • Gimmer, nice video. A cousin of mines is into family trees and he traced my dad's side back to the Cumbrian hills not far from the borders. We had ancestors who were shepherds there.

Now I didn't know this when I began my love of border collies. Is that not spooky? Must be something in the genes inherited from them. Shepherds sometime in the 18th century.

  • Thank you I was there twice so I do have allot of photos. I really can't get enough I would go back in a flash if I had the cash.

  • Love the photos! I like the music too...but what an amazing trip you had!
