Argh. I am so sorry, I've been hella busy! And as observed; yes, there is another part to this mega-shot thing. This one contains a flashback, so don't get confused; it starts at the Camp Rock thing. I added it in just so you can see how Jemi started. :D enjoy if you can.
"No. You guys can't make me choose like this." She pleaded, "Please don't." Nick shook his head. "I'm sorry, Demi. But I need him to leave you alone somehow."
"Yeah, and how do you know she'll pick you?" Nick's older brother asked.
"Because I'm sure she would want all of those great memories we had before back." Joe replied.
"Not all of them were great, Einstein. Like a couple of months ago?"
"Whatever, she can look past that."
"Guys! I'm standing right here!" Demi interrupted their argument again. "Can we just settle this tonight at the beach, please?" Joe took a step back away from his brother. "Yeah, we will." He said to Demi and turned back to Nick. "Now if you would be so kind as to leave my apartment!?"
"Oh, gladly!" Nick said, and stormed out of Joe's apartment and slamming the door behind him. Joe huffed as if he had just won one of the greatest arguments in history. He looked at Demi with a smile on his face. "I'm gonna need you to leave, too. I have to get ready for tonight." Joe walked her to the door and opened it for her. "I'll see you later." He said. Demi waslked out and didn't look back as he closed his apartment door. She continued to walk down the hallway to the elevator, where then then pressed the down button and got onto the elevator. Joe's apartment was high up, which meant that the elevator ride was going to be a while. Trying to think about other things, Demi leaned her head on the back of the elevator wall and closed her eyes.
They fell in love on the set of Camp Rock 2 when they kissed. It was the scene that Demi was most nervous about on the entire script, mainly because Joe was her best friend. Although she had been hiding the fact that she liked him a lot for about a year now and this was exciting, she was still pretty nervous. What if she laughed? What if she accidentally sneezed or coughed while Joe was pucking his lips up for a kiss? The list of worries were never-ending and stayed in her head days before the scene even happened. But the kiss day was finally here, and Demi was in her dressing room, staring at herself in the mirror. "Come on, Lovato," She told herself, "You can do this." It was only one kiss. Just one kiss could set her off, however. The fact that Joe probably didn't like her as much as she liked him seemed to calm her down every time. It was best if she kept it that way, so she wouldn't say anything suggestive or
make any suggestive moves, much to her dismay. As long as Demi stayed platonic, she was good. Maybe it was Joe's
fault that Demi lost her personal mantra when he barged into her dressing room. "Hey, Demi. Are you--" Demi jumped at the sound of Joe's voice and accidentally knocked over a cup filled with make-up materials. Setting the cup back up, she looked over at Joe, who raised an eyebrow. "Are you ready to go film the scene?" Joe asked.
Demi blinked. "The scene?"
"Yeah, you know. The one where we kiss." He seemed to be taking this less seriously than she was. Joe chuckled and did a little jig with his shoulders. Demi laughed a little and rolled her eyes at him. "Right. That one." She kept a nervous smile plastered on her face as she and Joe looked at each other. Joe looked everywhere else, trying to make the moment seem less awkward. "You know, you seem nervous." He said, staring at Demi's bracelet. Demi scoffed, and rolled her eyes again. "Me? Nervous? Never!" When she noticed her voice was beginning to grow squeaky like it always did when she was nervous, she cleared her throat and smiled quickly again.
"You sure?"
"Yes!" This time, her voice was squeakier than the last time she spoke.
"....Ya sure?" Joe asked again, and made his way over to Demi, who pursed her lips as she tried not to cave.
Her best friend nudged her with his shoulder twice and smiled. "Come on, Demi. It's okay if you are."
Joe laughed as Demi threw her hands up in distress. "Okay, fine! I am a little nervous." She said, looking at Joe. He shrugged and said, "You shouldn't be. It'll be okay, it's no big deal."
'Yeah, to you', Demi thought. 'You're not the one falling in love'. Just then, Joe grabbed Demi's script from her make-up counter and looked at it. "Maybe we should practice the scene."
"Practice?" Demi asked.
"Yes, practice." Joe looked at her and smiled a little. "I'm sure a little practice would help you get over your nervous-ness."
