  • I like how in the comments of these videos people act like they themselves have been researching gravity their entire lives and have found the secret key to understanding it, and if only everyone else followed their belief there would be no more to understand about it.

  • @MedievalHistoryLuver Didn't France collonise Louisiana? Blame them, lol.

  • Do you have any health and safety training then? 'Yah, we do... too bad you dont have enough time for it' :P

  • Wow, 2 extremely dangerous spider types, snakes, and other dangerous species...makes me wonder why we colonized all of America lol. Very funny clip though. Gotta luv Brian Cox, great for learning the interesting stuff you chose not to actually study.

  • This is so cute. Poor Dr. Cox. XD You can tell the guy's playing with him, but I'd still be a bit freaked out about the creepy crawlies. XD I've seen my fair share of black widows and snakes.

  • fun video this :)

  • haha, wuss!

  • I'm pretty sure Dr. Cox was playing along. He does this a lot on his programs to add a little entertainment value.

  • Its amazing and funny that as brilliant as Brian Cox is, he doesn't realize this guy is pulling his chain. I live less than 30 mins from LIGO and I promise you that nobody around here is that cautious of spiders, snakes or alligators.

  • The Loxsceles Reclusa it's not related to the Latrodectus genus of spiders (black widows). Loxosceles is unique in form (only six eyes) and poison, a dermonecrotic that destroys the cell's membrane causing nedrosis (death of tissue). Once inoculated by the spider the effects can vary from big non-cicatrizing lesions to blood cell and organs tissue destruction, resulting sometimes in death.

  • i really dislike the way how people represent Louisiana on TV... like the exterminator show or how waterboy portrayed it. Louisiana is not 100% swamps but down in south Louisiana its 100% ghetto!
