@popsflying Wow! you must have a magic wand that is why you know ,for sure, that Pakistan is supporting Al Qaida. Pakistan and Pakistani are so brave that they can handle 1:1000 of Indian security forces personnels.Take the example of Ajmal Kasab who managed to sneaked through impacible indian navy via sea and manage to fight thousands of indian professionally/emotionally trained soldiers for days. See thats why we are proud of our country.

@vyrgo84 That "generator" is called the APU (auxiliary power unit) and it's used to feed the electric systems of the airplane before engine start, or to provide an extra power source when you have an engine failure. Sometimes it is also used to feed the air conditioning packs of the plane before a performance takeoff (usually on very high altitude airports) so this way the engines can provide their full thrust.
It is basically a small turbine.
