as my comment is in tops im guessing i wasnt the only one! i managed to find out how to find it simply press Ctrl+F then type 'codkey' and it will find it then delete it :)

@MrJack1102 Actually, found my serial key at last, but changing it didn't solve the problem. ( Yes I do own a legit copy of the game)

@MrJack1102 I think it is a common problem that the Activision folder is missing from regedit, which means finding Cod4 isn't as easy as shown here. I tried Ctrl+F for it, but all I could find were some properties of the game, NOT my serial... Any clue on finding the serial?
