as soon as the words "bioshock" appeared on the screen i was like "oh man this is gonna be an awesome game"

This is probably the most cinematic opening in game, and it's amazing. I love the Andrew Ryan message and the the effects of the surroundings. But my absolute favorite is how they show the title. How it slowly fades while everyone is screaming and how it weathers quickly to show it grimy texture. And after playing both games, I thought, wow, this is the most creative game series ever.
